The Desert Wine
For over a decade, Fernando Mir of El Vino del Desierto has been making wines that express the terroir and singular climate of Los Monegros.
Over the years the bodega has grown to the point where they now make four distinct wines. Visits can be arranged or you can try the wines in our restaurant.
D.O. Somantano
The winemakers of Somontano, a neighboring county famous for its wines, are only 30 minutes away from Lastanosa.
Twenty-eight wineries make up the denominación de origen at the foot of the Pyrenees and many can be visited.
The Regulatory Council organizes many events like the Wine Route and the Wine Festival at the beginning of August.
